John Wesey
John sees himself more as a change strategist and wonders why people fail to see that what they desire to see individually or as enterprises is change. He believes that change is at the heart of every human growth, why he has devoted more of his energies in that direction. This can be in technology and infrastructure development, human and organization improvement, or community development. He is a strong advocate of the harmony of the spiritual, mental and physical sides of man. His greatest passion now is to help raise better leaders for society starting from himself
John is a co-founder of psyntech and has the opportunity to be mentored by great minds both locally and offshore. He has worked in a variety of companies since 1988, among them is Shell Warri (Industrial Training Scheme), FRCN (National Youth Service), Datamatics, Coopers & Lybrand (Now Pricewaterhousecoopers) among others.
It was while he was at PWC that he got himself into management consulting and he had the opportunity to manage and lead various assignments across various industries, working to help shapes these organizations for greater sustainability. However, he believed telling clients what to do was not enough, but seeking to join them in implementing these changes was far more interesting, why he co-founded psyntech.
He is a frequent speaker in seminars and workshops in business, technology and people issues, and contributes in a number of news media publications. He is also on the board of a number of SMEs and has help kick start some successful start-ups too. His weakness however, is his background in engineering, which makes him to want to see the 1s and 0s in most situations and he is happy to admit that he is seriously working on it. |
